JETcopter New Generation VTOL Aircraft Specs and Price
aircraftconcept.com – JETcopter is a new generation vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft developed by US-based flight start-up, JETcopter. VTOL aircraft can take off from limited space and land on surfaces and unprepared roads, making air travel comfortable for users. This will be powered by a lightweight and powerful engine, which is expected to increase efficiency and reduce operational and maintenance costs.
The initial design of the JETcopter VTOL aircraft was released in November 2018. The full scale model of the VTOL aircraft has been on display at the Aero 2019 flight exhibition to be held in Friedrichshafen, Germany, in April 2019. The VTOL aircraft will initially be available in a cargo configuration, while the commercial passenger version will be launched in the coming years.
JETcopter VTOL is equipped with 4 pseudo wings with tilts (nozzles) that can be tilted to accommodate the vector nozzle, which will receive the flow of air diverted by two fans that spinning above the fuselage. JETcopter VTOL will have a wingspan of around 13.5 m². The four nozzles that can be tilted independently at the four ends of each wing can be controlled by the pilot to make simple turns and shifts to complicated, without the need for steering or aileron.
The next generation VTOL aircraft will not feature conventional clutch plates, hydraulic systems, and sliding plates, making this aircraft less mechanically complicated. JETcopter will be able to take off in a span of one to two minutes, can land in the car park, and also maneuver on the road along with vehicle traffic. VTOL aircraft will have an empty weight of around 1,000 kg, while the maximum take-off weight limit is around 2,500 kg.
JETcopter VTOL's compact, flat-bottom cabin can be configured to support a variety of missions / operations including cargo and emergency ambulances. A strong back door can be used as a way to facilitate the movement of goods and people.
The engine will drive two centrifugal counter-rotating air turbines located above the fuselage. Air turbines will provide sufficient air flow to the four nozzles, which will allow takeoff, landing and hovering on the aircraft.
JETcopter VTOL will have a maximum speed of 300 km / h and a maximum range of 1,000 km. It will have the ability to fly destinations between cities and between provinces in one region.

JETcopter VTOL Design and Specs
The JETcopter VTOL convertiplane will feature a flat-bottom carbon fiber body, integrating the engine compartment and the air turbine mounted on the roof. It will have a flexible wing structure, which can change its position from vertical to take-off to horizontal during level flight. VTOL aircraft will also be equipped with two emergency parachutes, which can be used in case of an emergency.JETcopter VTOL is equipped with 4 pseudo wings with tilts (nozzles) that can be tilted to accommodate the vector nozzle, which will receive the flow of air diverted by two fans that spinning above the fuselage. JETcopter VTOL Cabin and Interior
The passenger version of the JETcopter VTOL will have seven seats that can carry pilots and six passengers. This will feature a superior interior for passenger comfort and enough space for luggage. Overall, the JETCopter VTOL will have a total length of 6.31 m, in which the passenger cabin will be 4.3 m in size. This aircraft will have a width of 1.7 m and the height of the cabin ceiling is 1.3 m.JETcopter VTOL's compact, flat-bottom cabin can be configured to support a variety of missions / operations including cargo and emergency ambulances. JETcopter VTOL Engine
JETcopter VTOL will be powered by two 3l automotive engines, all-aluminum twin-turbocharged with a maximum power output of 400 hp each. The engine will allow aircraft to reduce operational costs by up to 70% when compared to helicopters. The aircraft will offer a power-to-weight ratio similar to a medium sized helicopter. The engine will drive two centrifugal counter-rotating air turbines located above the fuselage.
