AeroMobil 4.0 Flying Car Concept, Specs, and Price
aircraftconcept.com – AeroMobil 4.0 is a flying car that is being designed and manufactured by the Slovak company AeroMobil. The AeroMobil 4.0 flying car concept was first introduced at the International Paris Air Show held at the Paris-Le Bourget Airport in June 2017. AeroMobil 4.0 cuts travel times compared to traditional airlines and will also allow users to travel up to 1,000 km more efficiently. New commercial car models are currently available for pre-order and will be delivered to customers in 2020.
AeroMobil 4.0 was built using monocoque construction techniques. The tail surface combines flight control and the geometry of the rear suspension. Very lightweight car wheels allow landing on asphalt, concrete or grass. This flying car has a sophisticated suspension system that is equipped with a variable mode. The system places the wheels in an optimal position for road mode and places the wheels in the desired position during takeoff and landing, while the wheels are pulled back during flight to reduce drag.
This flying car is equipped with the latest technology and turbocharging systems for extra power and height. AeroMobil 4.0 is 5.9 m long, 2.2 m wide and 1.5 m high, while the aircraft platform measures 5.8 m, 8.8 m wide and 1.4 m high.
In flight mode, the engine is coupled to a propeller pitch, a variable drive directly through adaptive transmission. This produces a maximum power of 300 hp. The propeller gets into the plane when the car is prepared for driving mode.
AeroMobil 4.0 can go with a maximum speed of 360 km / h when in the air and 160 km/ h when on the road with a maximum range of up to 434 miles (700 km). The maximum takeoff weight of a car is 960 kg, while the usable load and fuel capacity are 240 kg and 90 l, respectively.
The interior of the car is designed with advanced technology and safety features such as pyrotechnic seat belts and two-stage airbags. This car is also equipped with a ballistic parachute restoration of a default car designed to bring air vehicles back ashore safely, without making an emergency landing.
AeroMobil 4.0 Design and Specs
AeroMobil 4.0 has an advanced automotive crash structure made from composite materials. It combines the functions of cars and airplanes in one flexible platform. The integrated carbon cradle in the center holds the power unit and includes an attachment point for wings made of pre-impregnated composites. Each wing has wing seams and control surfaces with flower flaps for optimal flying experience.AeroMobil 4.0 was built using monocoque construction techniques. AeroMobil 4.0 Engine and Performance
AeroMobil 4.0 is powered by a hybrid-electric propulsion system that integrates a 2.0 l turbocharged 4-cylinder boxer internal combustion engine and two electric motors. This is supported by a special electric front wheel drive system that produces a maximum power of 110 hp.In flight mode, the engine is coupled to a propeller pitch, a variable drive directly through adaptive transmission. AeroMobil 4.0 Cockpit and Interior
AeroMobil 4.0 can accommodate 2 crews consisting of pilots and co-pilots. Both seating positions can be adjusted and the main flight/ drive controls further enhance comfort and safety. AeroMobil 4.0 combines a unique glass cockpit that is identical to traditional aircraft. The integrated digital display in the cockpit will present car operating information. The interior of the car is designed with advanced technology and safety features such as pyrotechnic seat belts and two-stage airbags.
