XTI TriFan 600 VTOL Aircraft Review and Specifications
aircraftconcept.com – TriFan 600 is a six-seat VTOL aircraft that's being developed by the XTI Aircraft Company, Denver, US. The aircraft was developed because the world's first long-distance vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) jet. XTI developed the TriFan 600 aircraft to focus on business flights, and high-value corporate and individual executives. The corporate expects to sell between 40 and 100 TriFan 600 aircraft per annum .
XTI began its preliminary design to develop the primary prototype TriFan 600 aircraft in November 2015. Honeywell Aerospace was contracted to provide the HTS900 engine to be used within the first prototype in August 2016. The scope of the contract also included a further engine for the XTI for land propulsion test systems.
The aircraft will include three fans channeling 72in and two wing fans. It flies vertically using three fan channels and therefore the wing fan will spin forward to supply a transition for high-speed flights. The aircraft also can land vertically on a horizontal surface the dimensions of a helipad.
Aircraft can fly faster, have greater reach, and save time by eliminating trips to and from the airport, XTI said. this will begin directly from a paved helipad-sized space.
The TriFan 600 aircraft will have a maximum cruise speed of 630 km / h (390 mph), a maximum cruise height of 35.00 ft, and a variety of 1,500 nm. this may reach maximum height in 11 minutes and maximum cruising speed in 90 seconds.

XTI TriFan 600 Engine and Performance
TriFan 600 are going to be powered by two HTS900 turboshaft engines with high performance reaching 2,600HP. This machine was developed by Honeywell Aerospace. The engine will use a digital engine system (FADEC) full dual channel authority with manual backup. The TriFan 600 aircraft will have a maximum cruise speed of 630 km / h (390 mph), a maximum cruise height of 35.00 ft, and a variety of 1,500 nm. this may reach maximum height in 11 minutes and maximum cruising speed in 90 seconds.
