Boeing BBJ 777-9 Price, Engine, Cabin, and Range – BBJ 777-9 is a wide-bodied business aircraft from the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 777X family. Boeing announced the new business jet-body model, the BBJ 777X on December 10, 2018, at the biennial Middle East Business Aviation Association Show (MEBAA). With a range of 11,000 nautical miles, the new BBJ model can fly non-stop more than half way around the world, longer than any business jet ever produced. It also has the widest cabin of a twin engined aircraft. BBJ 777X offers two models known as BBJ-777-8 and BBJ 777-9.

BBJ 777-9 has an exterior length of 76.7 meters, tail height of 19.65 meters, and a fuselage diameter of 6.20 meters. The fourth generation composite wing has a wingspan of 71.80 meters with split sword winglets. The volume of the cargo is 218.2 cubic meters.

The BBJ 777-9 is powered by two powerful General Electric GE9X engines. The GE9X is a dual rotor, axial flow, high bypass turbofan engine that produces a maximum thrust of 105,000 lbf. It has 1 fan, 3-stage low pressure, 11-stage high pressure compressor, and 2-stage high pressure 6-stage low pressure turbine. It has a fuel efficiency of ten percent higher than its predecessor and five percent specific fuel consumption than other engines.

Even though the cabin is bigger, the BBJ 777-9 offers a very long range of 11,000 nautical miles. This aircraft has a maximum take-off weight of 351,550 kg, a maximum load of 39964 kg, and a maximum fuel tank capacity of 52,300 gallons.
